brake and turn signal sockets????

does anyone know where i can find new turn signal and brake light sockets without goin to the dealer ...like at a local parts house ie napa autozone or kragens????

You can find them at auto zone and other parts places but you'll have to splice them in.

Rhino: what exactly do you mean by 'light sockets?' The wire ends where the actual bulb connects? The light/lens assembly?

what i mean by socket is the plastic plug/socket which holds the bulb with wires coming out of the bottom that twists into light housing

BTW...maybe I don't need a socket but my front right turn signal is dim with the running lights on and lights up the dash turn signal light when i'm not even using the turn signals i will check the grounds when i get home but until then have any suggestions ?????

Could be the flasher module going out. Maybe pull the bulbs and make sure the contacts are clean.

If you are worried about your sockets, scotchbrite the connections and clean them out with electrical contact cleaner. Can also clean the flasher contacts, etc.
