NOOB question about transfer case.

all right ive got an 88 xj with the ax-15 and np231 with the sye and wood shaft. so i have found that im wanting lower gears im already running 4:56 in the axles. I found that you can get the low gear kit but 1400:bs:. so what other cases will mate up to the ax-15. ones with a real 4:1 thanks for the info.

You could run 4.88's in the diffs

i just put the 4:56 in and i dont want to loose any more pinon strength with the d30.

D300 with a 4:1, adapter plates, and flip it.

NV241OR out of a Rubicon TJ/LJ for a 4:1.

Search on Pirate for more D300 4:1 kits, flip kits, adapter kits, ect..

They came in 80-86 CJ's.

The NV241OR wont fit,it only comes in a 23 spline.

If he's running the AX15 as he says, aren't they all 23 spline?

yeah but thats if hes running the ax-15 hes probably got the peugot just hasnt done enough research..

88 never came with an AX15 so I ASSumed he would of swapped one in to get rid of the BA10.
