another bumper question

ive searched but couldnt find one. ive seen it a few times. i'm looking at building a bumper that holds a winch inside the cross member. links of a build up would be great.
also how do you keep mud/dirt from getting to it?

What do you mean by "inside the cross member"? Do you mean sits low and in front of the cross member? My RigidCo winch bumper keeps the winch pretty much out of the way of the radiator.

How do you keep mud/dirt from getting to it? Don't drive nose deep through mud!!!

there was one that a guy removed the cross member and mounted it infront of the harmonic balencer
