i have a 1999 XJ, i tried to install the disconnects, but the bottom bolt, on the oem bar is i can get out, it looks like it is pressed in,

any help on how to get it out?

You can add a little heat to that BFH. Or cut the stud down short and push the rest of it out with a puller. Or do what I did and use an air chisel.

I ground the old shaft down flush with the braket, then used a big arse drift punch with a 2 pound sledge hammer. It will come out.

You can use a pittman arm puller on this bolt place the hook end of puller on the bracket were the bolt is tightening the pitman puller will push the bolt out of bracket. If you use the bfh you can bend\break that bracket off.The bolt is splined where it goes through the brk. is why it is hard to remove.
