dana 30 shafts?

Are they the same? I have a low pinion 30 in my 2001, but i just bought a hi pinion 30 as a swap. My question is can i carry the hi pinion shafts as spares for my low pinion for the time being?

Basically are hi pinion 30 and low pinion 30 shafts the same and interchangeable?

also what is a good way to clean the shafts so that im not getting everything dirty in my jeep? wire wheel? degreaser? both?

Shrink wrap them in cellophane.

Just a rag and some WD40 should work.

Its about time you got a high pinion 30.

Do yourself a favour and get TNT truss for it, and make sure you have someone qualified weld it to the third member.. then call up Ruff Stuff and get a strong diff cover for it.

Ya thats all a process but for now i dont have that much cash....so at least ill have the spare shafts while i get the hi pinion 30 built
