winch bumper demensions

well i'm starting on my frnot bumper this weekend and i want to add a winch to it some day so from the grill how far should the face of the bumper be to be safe to fit a winch in some day ???? T I A

You need to spend a few hours searching for winch bumpers to figure out what you want. Winches can be mounted in many positions.

Check the various winch manufacturers' websites for winch dimensions.
I would suggest buying a winch first and then building the bumper to fit it.

x2 on this. It's a pain building a bumper and having your winch not fit.
