go with the wj steering and brakes. the best upgrade I have done to mine. well worth the time and money if you have oversize tires and a lift. Killer geometry and huge brake upgrade!

You have four options. I'll put them cheapest first...
1. Performance pads / rotors.

2. WJ Swap.

4. Reid Racing knuckle swap + Dana 44 brakes. www.reidracing.com

They all have their merits. I plan to go WJ conversion at some point, I like the knuckle to knuckle tie rod & Jeep OEM parts availability + the steering geometry kicks ass.
I don't know a ton about Vanco's swap but the guy really knows his stuff and I wouldn't be afraid to buy from him at all - it's just a bit more expensive than junkyarding the WJ components, I think.
