I recently installed a SYE and i cant get the Jeep to shift i 4LO. I am hoping that it is either the shift linkage isnt set or the fact that i didn't cut my shift fork down is the problem.
To be able to identify the problem, i have the following questions.
1. On the 231 Tcase, which position of the actual shifter arm on the Tcase corresponds to what mode ?
2. What mode on the Tcase should the shift fork extend the furthest from the Tcase ? Would i need to cut it on a 93/94 Tcase, i was under the impression it only needed cutting for ones equipped with the Vac Switches ?
3. To adjust the linkage, does the Jeep need to be lifted completely ?
Thanks
Pete
