Ok gents, heres the specs-
1996 XJ Country, 4x4, auto, i6, with all the bells and whistles.
Now my question is,
I can turn the cruise on and it works wonders. But I cant get it to turn off via the switch on the dash, until I turn the vehicle off. The cruise itself will stop as soon as I tap the brakes, or coast/accel off the other two switches, but the on/off switch wont turn it off. Its a minor annoyance, but an annoyance none the less. I thought it might be the clockspring everyone talks about, but apparently my early model 96 doesnt use a clockspring setup (97+??)
