Where do I remember a post about the 97 up to Renix taillight swap? It definitely required reshaping the deck lid a lot more than the swap.
Some may disagree, but I like the looks of the later model taillights. It seems to me to be a matter of making the tailgate fit more than anything, and I'm starting paint anyway. Now's my opportunity.
