t-case and brake line ?'s

So i was wondering if it is possible to use an np 242 main/tail shaft in an np 231 and visa versa? The reason i am doing this is because i have a 242 shaft with the hack and tap already performed on it and i cant really afford to purchase anything else. Also can i use the hack and tap from the 242 on my 231 and what would be nessessary to install the hack and tap?
My last question is what are the proper lengths for brake lines for 5.5"-6" of lift? Thanks alot in advace you guys are always a lot of help :yelclap::worship:

Sorry, no can do. The shafts are completely different.

Swapping the H&T would depend on the year of each transfer case involved.


Brake lines....I'm at 6.5" lift and use 25" for the fronts and 17" for the rear.
