Will Rusty's 4.5 lift kit need SYE on my 95 XJ? I just rebuilt the T/C and really don't wabnt to pull it apart again.

no just drop the transfer case about an inch.

I wouldn't do a transfer case drop. It can screw up the shift linkage. SYE is the best thing to do.

The 4.5" kit from Rusty's comes with a 1" t/c drop kit. I have been running the same kit for 2 years now with just the t/c drop that was provided with no issues on my 90 XJ. Should not be a problem for you.

Gregg you should be all set if you already droppen the Transfer case an inch.

It also comes with 6 degree shims for the leafs you should be all set.

I have been running that kit in Moab for three years. If you drop your t-case and use the shims on the rear you should have no problem at all.
