Diifs like the D35 and 8.25 have symmetrical covers. The asymmetry of the D44 cover is very distinctive and easy to pick out.

As you can see from the photos the D44 cover looks a little like an apple laying on its side.
You could consider a 93+ Isuzu Rodeo/Honda Passport D44, just have to switch front to 6-on-5.5 with wheel adapters.
