no wipers....something unplugged?

1990 XJ Laredo

i recently pulled apart my dash for a heater core replacement. after i got it all back together, my wipers don't work. only connection unplugged that i can find is a small three wire plug, grey/black/red-white stripe.

Im hoping somekne here has dealt with a similar issue.......i need to get this thing roadworthy and out of the garage.....

I had a similar problem on Monday..
Come to find out, I'd accidentally kicked the fusebox, and knocked the circuitbreaker loose for the wipers. it's the silver box (two-terminal) on the very bottom of the fusebox. If it is in place, you can test the wipers by removing it, and use a 10A fused wire and jump the two fusebox terminals together, and try the wipers. if they work, the cct brkr may be faulty..

That was my thought too. jumpering across that circuit breaker didn't work.

these damn wipers worked when i started this nightmare.........something had to have gotten disconnected somewhere
