Ya, as said, he had Dana-Spicer axles. Really doesn't mean anything special as all XJ's, MJ's, TJ's (except rubicon), and YJs, and even many CJ's had a Dana 30 axle. His MJ either had the Dana 35, which is a weak rear axle, or a Dana 44, which is a good axle many people upgrade to.
