AXLE HELP!

Hey,

Trying to ID my rear axle....

I know that its a chrysler 8.25 which I have been told is the same as a Dana 35 but I dont know if the is with or without a c-clip

if it has a flat lip on the bottom of the diff, you have a 8.25

the shafts on the 8.25 are held in with c-clips

In 2000 it is a 29 spline 8.25 and there is no comparison to the much weaker D-35, even the older 27 spline 8.25 is stronger than a D-35 albeit marginal.
