i have a 1988 XJ pioner and im putting on a cheap 3in lift using spacers and blocks and the only thing holding me back know is the bump stop ive been trying to get off for 2 days, ive tryed to pull it out, beat it out, and i just ont come off and i dont want to cut it off, so does any one know how to take it off

front or rear?

am I reading that right... 3" blocks and 3" spacer?? ouch.

well why do you need to remove the bumpstops up front?

the spacers should slip over top same way the coils did. to add bumpstop, bolt some hockey pucks to the axle spring mount.

Like I said on the other thread pipe wrench. Have you tried PB blaster? how about heat then cold water then heat, back and forth till it breaks the rust loose. I got that one in mexico from a guy working on our trailer with a oxy propane setup. It worked better than we thought it was going to.
