Johnson valley flier handout / Giant Rock

We got to JV around 1230 Thursday night, did a lot of exploring and passed out fliers sat morning.Here are some pics of near by camps, it was a lot more crowded than we thought, just as busy as last weekend. We passed out 50 fliers and that was just a few for each camp.

It took us 1 hr and a 1/2 , here were our results
3 CAMPS had filled out comment cards and all the petitions

16 CAMPS knew about the and expansion and fojv, but had not signed and petitions or comment cards

4 CAMPS did not know anything about fojv or the land expansion

around 1200 saturday we headed out to landers to see Giant rock, and what i cool place it was


The girls could not make the climb so we had to get a rope out.



Also me and my girlfriend found a goecaching box out in jv


It was a great weekend and we got a lot more people informed about what is going on.

I might be im pending funds, if we did big bear just a day run? kinda far for me so is JV if i go out that way its normally all weekend or at least one night, but keep me posted im always in for wheelin

Yeah, My gf said she talked to you on Sat. Morning/afternoon. Her and her bros were out on a day ride... She was driving a Lightly Moded White Ranger pulling a small flat trailer with a few quads on it.
