i bought a donor XJ with a XJ D44... its obviously had some work done to it (besides the ARB, 4.56s, Chromos) anyways, the shock mounts were moved up, great right?
not totaly, the brainchild who was working on it, welded the shocks mounts on when the axle was level, so when the whole axle was installed and rotated up for a good driveline angle, one shock is lower then the other. so theres now a good 1" of obvious difference.
so, any thoughts? should i be concerned?
should i remove and reinstall the shock mounts?
or just get different length shocks?:gee:
