steering colum re-assembly

So I just tightened my bolts WITH loc-tite on my GM style colum. I have encountered a few problems upon re-assembly.

1. I can not figure out how the plastic piece for the dimmer goes back in, well at least how it fits over the metal connecting rod. I put it on the way I remember, but when I pull back on the high-beams it does not contact the plastic piece.

2. for some reason my ignition will not turn back all the way. it is in like the unlocked/on/start positions but can not turn it to the "unlock" position to remove the key.

3. I damaged the snap ring around the lock plate when I pulled it out, anybody know a replacement size for the ring?

That one had more details, but Im still a little stumped. When I pulled my buzzer piece out the spring part of it was all bent up, Im guessing that is why the ignition wont pop back out.

still need a size on the snap ring, maybe?
