Ok so out snow wheeling with my buddy in his Xj its a 96 with a 242 transfer case. We see a dip in the snow and I tell him dont go throuhg that, but he does not listen and gets stuck. He tries to shift into 4LO but the linkage to the transfer case breaks. We have spent the past 4 hours trying to put the new one on, does anyone know any tricks?
