97+ trimming question

i may have found a 97 cherokee on 31s with a 4.5" lift, but i want to bump up to 33's. have people trimmed their 97+ front bumper? if so post some pics. or should i just get an aftermarket front bumper?

Fender trim.

Bumper trim.

You should not need to trim the bumper for 33s. But you will probably have to trim the fenders. Making the first cut is the hardest and it gets easier after that. Search there are lots of write ups on the fender trim.

i was interested in leaving those big 97+ ends on but just trimming past where it looks like a flair would be.

99 with 4.5" lift and 33's. It is kind of a work in progress. I am working on getting some trim to clean up the edges.

whats the backspacing on your rims? you think you could go with 12.5" wide tires or no?

I'm running 1.25" spacers. I probably could get away with 12.5" tires now, but without the spacers not a chance. I think the stock back spacing is around 5. But, I really doon't like the wide look. I love how the 10.5's look.

The Air dam and fenders were the biggest problem for my 2001, i didn't have to cut the bumper it self though.
