Tranny line Q

I am going to be adding a trans temp sensor in line or in pan (still to be decided but exhaust issues make in line more likely at this time).
If I go in line, I plan to use a splice in header so I need to know the line diameter.
Anyone know what it is for sure?
Here is a pic of the header of which I speak...

Just measured it Steve.....caliper's read .375". Why are you skeered of the gazaast? I mounted my sensor in the pass front corner of the pan, sensor pointing forward. This is about the only place that you can fit it into the pan and have clearance.

My Borla header and cross pipe come close to the pan in that area. The pipe is wrapped but I still worry about a heat soak effect in that area of the pan. I know I'll still get some soak with the t block header but at least the fluid will be moving and lessen the artifact as much as possible.
