XJ Back Seat

As most of you know, the back seat in our rigs generally sucks.
I also figure it is probably a safety concern for anyone sitting back there because there is no whiplash protection.
Are there any options out there ? Are there after market seats available ?
Could I fit one from a ZJ ?

European XJ's had headrests you could have one shipped..., but for a cheaper way to have headrests, and a few weeks or months ago someone did a tech writeup (on : NAXJA

: or a link to a website) on making the rear headrest brackets and using front seat headrests I've been thinking of doing the same. Hope this helps -Todd

Thanks very much for that.
The concern is my 7 yr old's head is at least 12" above the top of the seat back. If someone plowed into the back of us, it would not be good.

You could always have your kid wear one of those neckbraces like the Nascar racers do.

Or just leave the kid home. JK
