im building my own long arm 4 link. For the lower arms i bought Johnny Joints for one end, and OEM rubber bushings for the other. I've seen setups with the joint on the axle end and bushing on frame end, and i've seen them the opposite way. What is truly the best way? i do drive this on road a lot. i figured that the bushing would be better on the axle end to absorb any road bumps and noise. Any input is appreciated!

I kinda remember reading something recently about not using jonny joints in control arms since they can only flex side to side and you need a bushing since there is fore aft energy as well.

That only apllies to radius arms, the OP is doing a 4-link!
