Adding door jamb switches to the rear doors

I have a 96 sport, full manual doors. I want to add door jamb switches to the rear doors (it appears there is a hole for it, but no switches) so I can put the kids in their car seats without having to leave the front door open.

is there any provision for wiring, or do I have to piggyback it into the front jamb switches? or is there another option?

I always thought rear doors should come with key locks and jamb switches from the factory...

I want to do the same thing. Let me see how this could be done.....

I bet the wiring is there, just fallen down inside the B-pillar. Have you looked?
