92 Antenna Will Not Come up?

Wondering on the fix to my poor radio signal. The antenna does not rise nor does it make an atempt to. Wondering if a fuse would cause this problem or if the motor is just done. Also i have heard of mounting non mechanical antenna in the original location? At this point any information would be helpful. A 2hr commute a day with bad radio sucks.:us:

fuse would be the first thing i'd check. then the motor. could be a bad connection.

Hallo. the inside nylon rope will mostly snap off. Renew the antenna, or make it manual like I do. Pull out the knob outside, each time you need the radio :spin1:

When mine stopped working, it was the relay under the dash panel in front of the passenger seat.

k well i dont have a manual so which fuse is for the antennna #? what does the rely look like?

Hallo '92 Jeeper. The fuse is #12 ETR (10Amp) It is left of a biggy one of 30Amp. All in the cabin.
The relais is under the dash,but where? I can hear it, but I can't see it. :roll:

Relay is under the lower dash panel just about where a passengers right knee would be. Easy to see if you drop the lower dash panel.
It looks like a black 1" square box.

maybe this would help get it up
