i sarted in thursday morning doing a little work on my heep, getting ready to take it back to school. as of now, and $800 less than i started with, its ready to go.

new exaust manifold [beefed up stock style from 1a auto, required milling a bolt hole into a bolt slot, some cleaning up of burrs inside, and a bit of welding to make me happy]
new [streetish] tires on new [used] rims
new brake pads, rotors turned, brakes bled
muffler buttoned up so no more leaks or clamps
e-brake fixed [cable came off in brake drum]
oil changed
radiator and entire cooling system flushed
new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor
new motor mounts [both sides]

the last stud on the back of the block for the exhaust manifold broke off and was a real pain to get out. it may have required a little hammer/firewall contact  to get to it with a drill. the EGR tube was also an hours worth of work to get back on.
