Tantrum LED rock lights

Has anyone seen these. I wish I knew they were available before I put 220 watts of Walmart Rock lights under my rig. I may still have to get a set of these. You could leave these on all night without killing the battery if you were working on your rig.

looks like theyll be STUPID expensive. you can use the google and find sealed marine LED setups for cheap and wire them up yourself.

Not bad. I spent half that on four el cheapo lights from Walmart that have already cracked from going in the snow with the lights on.

$120 bucks for 8 lights all wired to a controller.

The marine ones would have to be pretty cheap to make that worth while.

thats insane.

im getting marine LEDs from www.oznium.com once it warms up to wire in for rock lights. one 19" strip on the front x member, and other 19" in front on the gas tank, 40 bucks plus shipping later, some cheapo wires and a switch and its done.

If I ran those I would say it would take at least 4. So $80 plus shipping. And you get 8 with the other kit for a little more. I'm just showing an option. Not the cheapest, but a good deal for a waterproof LED option. I realy like the fact that they are in waterproof pods. They will project light more like a regular light not a soft glow.

Not waterproof, water resistant.
LED's are unidirectional unlike incandescent are omnidirectional. However, eight units should give plenty of coverage.

I was planning on going with the Ozium LEDs too (though, not the ones pictured above). They do have waterproof lights on there as well. Seemed like a good price to me.

Run a bead of this around the magnet

if you want them to come off, you'll have to pry them off .......
