I've got a 94 XJ, 4.0, AX15, NP231. My 231 was leaking pretty bad so I replaced it with one that I was told out of a 95 XJ.
Everything bolted up fine but my old t-case has a plug on the top of the case above where the shift fork enters for the electrical sensor that lights up the Part Time light on the dash.
The new case has a 4 pronged circular plug on the back of the case. I was under the impression that that was the way older cases were? Is it possible to change the connector or is the wiring completely different?
