NP231 on a '99, What size socket do I need to take off the bolt holding on the front yoke? I have up to 27 mm and that's not enough, need to know so I can go buy one.

Do you have a Caliper? That is what i grab for when it looks big.

nope. Tape measure looks like maybe between 1 1/16 and 1 1/8, but I'm assuming it's metric

More than likely it is, find a friend who will let ya borrow one or go to a parts store that you can rent tools from.

It's 1 1/8. I just went to Sears and bought a few different sizes, figured it wouldn't hurt to have them. Thanks.
