I need to do some welding on my Heep.

Besides disconnecting the battery is there anything I should do? I'll only be using a 110 wirefeed. The Heep is a 95XJ I6

Thanks!

yeah I have welded on my unibody and honestly if the lead and ground are close by u do not really have to disconnect the battery - i would only do this if i was welding on one end of the vehicle and the ground was on the other end - but i disconnect anyways to be safe b/c these is some wiring inside body panels that u can not always see - be careful of sparks, wear some long sleeves and prep the area really well - the xj has a tough primer that needs to be stripped down to the metal - other than that buzz away and be prepared to burn though some sheet metal - it really takes a while even with a 110 to get the settings right!
