Bilstein 5100 vs RE Mono Tube

My 98 XJ is at 6" of lift and in need of a shock upgrade. Between the Bilstein 5100s and RE Mono Tubes which would you recommend? Are there any others in the same price range ($325 a set) you would suggest?

i vote Blisteins. I have the mono tubes on our zj and they suck and i just ordered a set of 5100's for $350

i have the RE monotubes and i LOVE them.

couldn't be happier with my set up. 3.5 re superride with re monotubes.

Bilstein or OME

Bilsteins are by far superior to the RE monotubes. They are both great shocks but the Bilsteins excel where the REs can only go if you wanna spend big bucks.

I had the RE Monotubes and they were a good shock just made a hell of a lot of noise(squeaky)

Umm... correct me if i am wrong, but when my buddy opened his RE monotubes the name stamped on the bottom was bilstein. Not that sure if they are the 5100's but iam almost positive they were Biltein made.

The RE Monotube shocks are manufactured by Edelbrock, just without the IAS valving.

I thought the RE Monos might be a rebadge of someone. Just didn't know if they were worth foolin with.
