It's 1-1/2 miles from where I work at UCSD. The plane is an F-18, which is what the Blue Angels fly, not an F-14 Tomcat. It looks like the pilot was trying to put it into the canyon that runs along those houses but didn't quite make it. Could have been a whole lot worse. I lived in North Park here when the PSA plane went in.
