Let's see here, OPEC wants oil consumption and prices to rise, detroit wants to build big profitable gas guzzlers, HMMMMMmmmmm,

So maybe Detroit should ask OPEC for a loan!

Win-Win deal!

I say we level Detroit like we did Japan, then help them rebuild. I mean, it worked for the Japanese automakers right?

Well Canada has stepped in with 2.8 billion in loans for GM to help save the Canadian auto industry. The UK and Japan are stepping up with loans to bail out their auto industries. So much for this being just a Detroit auto, UAW mismanagement problem.

I read last night that Dow Chemical is idling, shutting down in other words, 180 chemical plants world wide, this just after spending about 20 billion 3 months ago to buy Rohm & Hass.

This should get real interesting when Exxon shows up asking for government loans and guarantees.

Hmmm, Canada also has a balanced budget......for the 2nd year in a row, me thinks?

Hmmm, aren't they a bunch of tax and spend socialists up there?

Interesting model.

Didn't Enron appear to have balanced books for a while?
