'89 XJ - Stalls when at an angke

Hey guys,

I was just on the phone with my little brother. He says his '89 stalls out when he's pitched at any moderate angle. Then he said something about "it seems to do it more when leaning to the left."

The only thing I thought was that maybe his fuel pump is installed incorrectly. Are there any other possibilities that you can think of? Let me know!

Get rid of the carbuerator.

Fuel filter may have shifting trash in it which covers the exit better on a left lean than a right lean. :dunno:

carb needs cleaning/adjusting?
that year still does have the carb right

How much of a moderate angle? Tell him to put more gas in it.

If he runs his tank is near empty, he is may just exposing the fuel pump to open air.
