so this spring i plan on removing the doors, but im curious to why every one cuts the bottom of the hinge off? wouldn't it be harder to get the doors on....

why cut the bottom of door hinge?

Are you talking about this? It just slides on with no help from anybody..Makes it easyThe bolt doesn't move up an down

a whole lot easier cut the bottom of the hinge off than it is to unbolt the hinges and try to get everything to line back up again when putting the doors back on
