Custom floor shifter

Hey, has anybody put a custom automatic floor shifter in there xj? I found a real nice one from B&M that I would love to put in mine.

I think it wouldnt be that hard to do. If there is any nfo out there please let me know.

After taking the carpet and center console out of my XJ, I really wanted to put a boot over the tcase and tranny shifters, and just put a different knob on the tranny stick. I'd want to "delete" the center console basically. So I'm looking for the same idea.

I put a b&m in mine with the console Im running all gm running gear the and stock shifter wouldnt work for me

I think I've figured out an idea to make my own knob/handle using the stock button design.
