YJ Tie Rod End Thread Taper Like XJ?

I'm building up a 2wd XJ on a serious budget and the whole front end is a bit loose (ball joints). I found a complete front lower tie rod for super cheap (under $20). I'm wondering if I can use these ends in an XJ.

Anyone know the difference? I'm assuming the YJ tie rod is shorter overall but if the ends have the same thread pitch and taper I might be able to use them.

Looking at the Autozone web site the part numbers for the TREs on a 96 XJ 2wd and a 91 YJ 4wd are the same. The part numbers for an 87 and 88 YJ are different from the XJ part numbers.

Don't know if there is a difference.

the yj's tie rod goes from knuckle to knuckle and the drag link goes from pitman arm to tierod were as the xj's draglink goes from pitman arm to knuckle and the tierod goes from knuckle to draglink so you have to swap the whole assembly as for fitment of the tre's i know that a 91 xj and a 93 yj are different but thats all.
