I have a Dana 70 that im building up and I want to lose the huge drums. Does anyone have any experience swapping the drums for disks. What rotors and calipers did you use? Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, you can search but that gets old.

I have a dana 60 HD in my xj. The heavy duty is the same as the 70. I can run the 70 axles in it due to the bigger axle tubes and spindles.

Disk Brakes: I am running chevy front dana 44 disc brakes rotors and calipers. Just buy some brackets to mount those babies up. Brackets will run 80.00 + . Just depends how much you surf the net. Make sure you get the calipers loaded and it will have everything you need.

Hey thanks, wrote that stuff down, and ill be ordering it here before long. Where'd you get your brackets at? I might look into making some if it'd be cheaper than buying some..
