Does anyone know if these would work on a 99 XJ? http://nashville.craigslist.org/pts/903588772.html . I offered him $20 and he said yes. I don't have tow hooks right now so I have been trying to find a deal on some.

Also, I forgot to ad. I have the brackets already on my front bumper. It looks like the previous owner just took the hooks off. Maybe these hooks would bolt up?

Direct bolt in they won't work. Save up and get the right brackets for an xj. Do it right the first time is how I go.

yeah. I went and looked at my current brackets and these won't work. Just wanted to check with you guys. I'm sure I could fine some oem ones at a junkyard.

Here are my current brackets. Do I just need hooks? Seems odd that the holes aren't lined up.

Those look like adapters for a tow bar to haul your XJ behind an RV.

You need factory or factory style tow hook brackets. Standard tow hook fit on these.

Okay, I see. This cherokee belonged to the Chattanooga Parks dept. I wonder why they were towing it?
