engine tranny swap?

has anyone ever successfully dropped an engine/tranny/transfer case out the bottom of an XJ. is it do-able?

i'm thinking if i pull the mounts off the motor and pull the intake exhaust it should drop right out.

i've already got the front end out upgrading to 4.56's and aussie locked.

i'm thinking that i can re install the rear axle. chok the wheels and lift the front of the jeep up to clear the engine combo and get it out from underneath.

ive never done it, but it sure does look possible as long as the axle isnt there.
