97 GCL 4.0L Ran then quit, Why?

97 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L Auto. It was low on fuel and I put about 3 gallons in it. Then the battery needed to be jumped and then it started. I let it idle for about ten minutes and would rev it up every once in a while. The last time I reved it up it sputtered and then stalled. Now it cranks and won't start at all. Ah ha it is the fuel pump right? wrong. 48 psi at the rail. Ah ha no spark, wrong, it has spark. CPS right? replaced it 3 months ago. Now what the hell is wrong with this truck.

While the pump may provide pressure it's possible you damaged it running it empty. Does it even fire like it's trying to start ?
