what's the 2nd most common rim diameter

15" diameter is everything everywhere, but what's the 2nd most common?

I am planning ahead for JK axles and looking to get wheels first, and am thinking 16" is pretty much the safe minimum (15" will fit until you dent the lip then it won't)

Next largest most common is 16".

15, 16, 16.5, and 17 are the most common sizes for wheels for most tire manufacturers.

I would go with 17s. Many more tire options and better prices. I was stuck with the same decision when I did my JK axle conversion. I went 35s with 17" wheels and could not be happier. I only wanted to go 33s at first but the 17s forced me to a 35. I am now thinking 37s. Remember the bolt pattern is different on the JK axle so it is all or nothing. No planning ahead unless your storing your new wheel and tire in the garage. Let me know if you need any info on the JK axle swap.

I'll run w/ adapters while I build the axles.
