Which Ebay manifold??

Long story short...I am helping a friend through a rough time...He has a 97 4.0 with the usual cracked manifold. I am going to change it out and install it with Fel-Pro gaskets to help get him by. I have searched EVERY Ebay manifold thread and they all turn in to a "I bought an APN thread". I know they are great headers (APN), but this needs done cheeeeeeap. Has ANYONE used one of the Ebay manifolds? If so, anything I need to look out for? Suggestions??

I'll have to disagree...you get what you pay for!! ant this is a job you only want to have done once! I know of a kid who got an ebay header and it looked just like a name brand manifold, however it leaked right away...then rusted within a few years. I looked into the ebay ones and It would have to take a TON on testimonials from people I actually knew to convince me to try that route. Good Luck!!
 
There is a cheap manifold that is being sold over the internet that some people have talked about in the street performance section. I can't remember the name but they did have some quality statements.
 
Go with the 3rd one...as long as the ugly girl with the plastic surgery and a boob job comes with!
 
I had a cracked one on a 91 and all I did was pull it off, weld it, put it back on, good as new. Great if you have access to a welder, or know someone who does. Just my $.02

I actually had it welded and he has been driving on it for over a month with no issues.
