My '93 4.0 was running poorly and giving three codes, 1-4 for MAP sensor electrical, 2-2 for coolant temp, 2-4 for throttle position sensor. replaced all three sensors but still get a 2-4 code for the TPS. Thinking the fault is in the computer circuit seems extreme, maybe the fault is in the wires from the sensor to the computer .... sensor connector plug is ok. The rig runs alot better and seems as if the only problem is when I jam on the gas when cruising in 4th gear the motor seems to load up on gas, stutter, and then smooth out if I get off the gas. Anybody have any ideas what might still be causing the TPS fault ? thanks
