My 88 XJ with the 4.0l 6 cylinder and Renix system runs great with 260,000 miles on the speedometer. Now that the weather is turning "cooler" here in Texas the XJ has developed a "stumbling" problem after the first start of the morning (when the temps are in the 50's).
It starts right up but if I put it gear and head down the road it will stumble and buck until the engine warms up (2-3 miles). It idles fine But I dare not put a "load" on it until its warmed up.
Any ideas? I think its probably a sensor.
Thanks,
