Door hinge pin removal

Cornflake

NAXJA Forum User
So I'm putting my doors back on this weekend and bought a set of hinges from a person on here (thanks again Jimbo) and I can not get the center pins out. What is the trick? Can i take a 1/4 bit and drill it out? Hammering doesn't seem to work. They're not on the doors at the moment but I can bolt them on if there is a trick to get the pin out. Any idea's would be helpful. Thanks.

I had access to an oxy-acetylene torch and heated the hinge 'til it was glowing hot and tapped them out with a 40oz. ballpean hammer. Took a total of ten minutes including rolling out the tanks from the back room at work.
