I bought a parts XJ and I have no clue what year it is[87-94ish] (the guy who had it before me took the title, VIN tag & stickers for his truck...) anyways it's got the black leather seats and the truck got flooded this weekend. Anyways I was originally planning on swapping the seat assemblies into my XJ(90) but can I get away with just swapping the seat covers onto the existing seats in my XJ? Whats a good way of removing mud from the leather &the foam undersides?
Right now I have the 'pioneer' package cloth seats so would the hog rings be in the same spots for the leather seats as the cloth seats or is it a completely different beast? I think the bench is the same.
