Dogs

Okay, well the wife was on Discovermoab.com and it sounded like the town was strict, as well as the Nat Parks.....

Different motels and campgrounds have different rules. For instance, pets are welcome in RVs, but not allowed in cabins.

National parks and state parks may have varying rules, but the vast majority of trails we use are on BLM land. The BLM has no rules against pets.

i believe the BLM resticts animals from some of the very remote backcountry.. i've seen a few trail descriptions that pointed that out. i'd say in the very least a leash is a good idea.

DO NOT bring your dog if you are going into either Arches or CanyonLands. If you are on a dirt road in the park animals are not allowed with you...even in your vehicle.
